About Kinetic Chiropractic + Performance
In 2024, Dr. Zach knew he wanted to provide the type of care all patients deserve; a unique, individualized, and undivided attention in their care. He believes it is the encouragement, knowledge, and an action-motivated mindset that enables his patients to get better quicker, stay healthier longer, and learn the tools to keep reaching new levels of wellness.
Q1. I am already seeing a chiropractor, why would I come see you?
Most chiropractors only do 20% of what we do here at KCP. Just like many “typical” chiropractors, our team utilizes manipulations & adjusments, soft tissue techniques, and passive modalities. However, our team will combine those traditional therapies alongside of comprehensive rehab and training techniques such as SFMA, DNS, and exercise prescription principles to provide a customized patient-centered treatment plan in order for you to reach your desired goals. It is never a one-size fits all in our office.
Q2. I was already given exercises by my Physical Therapist, why would I need more?
In addition to all of the services a PT office can provide, we will not be giving you a “cookie-cutter” sheet of exercises (AKA the same sheet everyone gets who has back pain, even if their back pain is different). It needs to be the right exercise for you, at the time, in the right amount.
Q3. What's up with all the exercise?
Here at KCP, we pride ourselves in being Movement Optimists. We believe that movement is the best form of medicine. If we can teach you to move without fear or hesitation, your goals will just be checkpoints during your journey. Not the end point. Our goal is to find the right patterns and positions for you as soon as possible, so that you can get back to the things you love faster.
Q4. How likely is it that you will be able to help me?
If you have pain or stiffness in the following areas: Back, Hip, Knee, Neck/Shoulder, Ankle/Foot then there is a great chance that I can help AND if I can not, I will certainly tell you that and help you find the right person that can!
Q5. What if I come in for my first visit and don't want to make another appointment?
That’s totally fine. My first priority is to help you understand what is going on and how I can help. Once I’ve done that, it is up to you to decide what you want to do about it!
Q6. What will happen if I don't do anything about my injury?
In most cases, it won’t heal as efficiently as it could have and you will still experience pain. Even if that pain is at a lower intensity and on/off frequency. The not-so-obvious effects are what it could be doing to your joints, movement patterns, and to your quality of life in the coming weeks, months, and years.
Q7. Can I talk to someone before coming into the office?
Of course! Part of our process is an Introductory Discovery Call with our Doctor. This allows us to gather more information from you, address any and all questions and concerns you may have, as well as make sure you are a good fit for what we do. Our patients say that this phone call is one of the most beneficial times they spend with us before starting their treatment plans.
Q8. How quickly will I be seen?
Often, within days. If this is an emergency, please call or email the office and we will do our best to see you as soon as possible.
Q9. My other chiropractor just lays me on the table and cracks my back, is that what you do?
No, what we do is so far from that. We of course will spend time working on your body, BUT we expect you to be willing to learn and move your body. Every session will be 1-1, for the entire 60 minutes.
